Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment
JMAR pays the premium for coverage equal to 1 times annual salary.
Disability Coverage
Short-term Disability – Employees are covered both by state disability programs and an employer-paid supplemental disability policy which pays out at 70% of weekly earnings up to a maximum of $1500 per week.
Long-Term Disability – JMAR pays the cost for coverage which pays out at 50% of monthly earnings up to maximum benefit of $3000 per month. Employees can purchase additional coverage up to 60% of monthly earnings up to a maximum of $10,000 per month.
Beyond Your Paycheck:
Retirement and Savings Plans
401K Employee Savings Plan – Employees may contribute up
to 20% of compensation with a maximum contribution of $15,500 ($20,000
for employees over the age of 50). JMAR provides a matching contribution
equal to 25% of the employee’s contribution, not to exceed 25% of
3% of the employee’s annual compensation.
Stock Option Plan – JMAR may award incentive stock options and non-qualified stock options from time to time in the discretion of JMAR’s Board of Directors.
Time Away:
Holidays – JMAR observes 10 holidays per year, including three floating holidays per year.
Vacation – Managers accrue 3 weeks of vacation per year for the first 5 years of service, 4 weeks per year in year 6 and an additional day per year thereafter to a maximum of 5 weeks per year. All other employees accrue vacation at a rate of 10 days per year in the first 5 years and 15 days per year thereafter.
Other paid absences – JMAR also provides for unpaid leaves of absences for personal need, family deaths, military service, or as required under the federal Family Medical Leave Act or related state laws.
