The Microelectronics Division has developed significant integrated circuit design, product development and manufacturing expertise to produce ASIC solutions to meet customer needs.
JMAR's integrated circuit design and support services include:

ASIC Design Flow
The Microelectronics Division offers a wide range of customer interface options for ASIC development. For those customers who require a turn-key solution, JMAR accomplishes the complete design beginning with circuit design specifications. We then develop the basic design concept and a behavioral description and test bench of the desired integrated circuit. The design then passes through the design flow illustrated in the diagram to the left.
For customers desiring to create their design through netlist, we provide 0.18 micron and 0.25 micron macro libraries on CDROM, enabling customers to completely define and simulate the device.
Using the completed customer device definition and simulation output, the design team then provides layout, post-route simulation and prototype fabrication for the device. Production implementation follows customer approval of prototypes.
ASIC Packaging
Integrated circuit packaging is provided in a wide range of industry standard configurations. The Microelectronics Division is capable of providing standard and customer industry packaging.
