BriteLight is JMAR's family of patented diode pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers. These lasers are compact, short pulse QCW lasers. While this laser was originally designed for JMAR's CPL system, JMAR has been able to adjust the modular architecture to optimally interact with a number of materials and thereby produce a highly efficient laser for a variety of applications such as precision micro-machining.
As part of JMAR's EUV source program, the Company is developing a highly efficient, high power CW DPSS laser that operates at much higher repetition rates than the QCW type. This new laser variety is expected to be a more economical source for applications where high repetition rates are required.
