Laser Technologies
High Power Solid State Lasers: JMAR's compact, solid state, Britelight™ Laser provides an unequaled combination of beam quality, pulse energy, pulse width, and repetition rate in a compact form factor. This laser is currently used for bio-analysis, large non-linear optical crystal conditioning, and for soft-X-ray generation through laser produced plasma.
Custom and Off-the-shelf Commercial Lasers: JMAR has expanded its laser expertise to include a host of additional laser technologies and solutions including RGB, Green and UV lasers, among others.
Double-Pulse Laser: Having been awarded an SBIR grant from the U.S. Army, JMAR set out to develop a double-pulse laser to provide enhanced Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) performance. Development was successful and JMAR is now productizing this innovation which can be used in a multitude of hazardous material detection applications.
Sensing Technologies
BioSentry®: JMAR has developed an award-winning, laser-based, early-warning system to provide continuous, real-time surveillance, detection and classification of waterborne microorganisms. Ideal installations will consist of multiple sensor units, configured and networked to meet the specific needs of bottled water suppliers, water treatment plants, water distribution systems, water park facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturers and protection of critical facilities. The BioSentry product line is currently expanding to include both a lab system and a full surveillance service called BioAlert™.
