custom and high-power, modular DPPS laser systemsBriteLight is JMAR's family of patented diode pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers which offer an unmatched combination of high brightness and high average power in a reliable and highly modular design.
Sub-Nanosecond Pulse
The BriteLight maser oscillator delivers over 0.7 mJ in an 800ps pulse at repetition rates of up to 500Hz and with a TEM00 beam profile in its standard configuration. By using a proprietary diode pump arrangement in combination with a Q-switch, mode-locker, and cavity dumper the BriteLight can achieve an impressive combination of short pulse, smooth temporal profile, and excellent spatial mode.
Near Diffraction Limited Beam
JMAR�s BriteLight has been carefully developed and manufactured to deliver a unique design for the best output and highest power possible. Even when operating at full power the BriteLight ensures that the output is close to diffraction limited. Amplification of the master oscillator output is done first in a single stage four-pass, pre-amplifier and then in a dual-stage, four-pass power amplifier. In each stage the BriteLight uses JMAR�s proprietary technology to compensate for the effects of thermal lensing, stress-induced birefringence and depolarization.
